Tap Payments + WhatsApp Integration

Kuwait-founded Tap Charges and Invoices: create a charge URL in the WhatsApp thread, confirm on charge.captured, and keep the shared inbox as the collection desk.

Tap Payments started in Kuwait and is the enterprise-leaning KNET / Apple Pay / card processor for Gulf brands that already run a Tap merchant ID. Ominiflow creates a Tap Charge or Invoice from conversation context and drops the hosted checkout URL into an approved template. When Tap fires charge.captured (or equivalent webhook), Ominiflow sends the receipt Utility template and can tag the CRM deal as paid.

Use Tap when the finance team already has Tap, not MyFatoorah. Both collect KNET; do not dual-send two payment links in one thread. Arabic and English checkout pages on Tap should match the template language you submitted to Meta.

Fits retail, hospitality deposits, and B2B invoice collection where the Tap dashboard is already the source of truth for settlement.

How It Works

  1. 1
Add Tap secret keyPaste the live secret key and webhook secret from Tap Dashboard → Ominiflow payment integrations. Select Kuwait as the charge currency (KWD).
  2. 2
Map charge creationChatbot node or CRM stage creates a Tap Charge with amount, customer phone (E.164 +965), and metadata (order ID).
  3. 3
Send the checkout URLUtility template button points at the Tap hosted URL. Do not shorten in a way that breaks Tap’s redirect.
  4. 4
Handle webhooksOn captured → receipt + CRM paid. On failed/cancelled → one retry template inside the customer-service window, then stop.
